Indian Boy

This was our project earlier today. Kade wanted to show it off a little. He is an Indian. Can you tell those are feathers? Well, at least his sweet face may brighten your day. :)

Valentine's Day

Kade got some fun Valentine's Day gifts from Daddy and Mommy that he would like to share with you. He really enjoyed his paints and new markers. (he is actually painting now as I type this). It has been one activity lately that he is content to do on his own for a good 15 min or so. :)

Kade in the snow...and other things

Kade had such a great time in the snow. We have a neighbor that has a steep driveway perfect for sledding. Kade wanted to go by himself over and over again. He didn't hesitate to lay down and make a snow angel.
Below is a picture that Kade wanted me to take. He collected some leaves on our walk yesterday and said that I had to take his picture with them. (they are laying down by his feet). The warmth in the air has been so nice the past couple of days. We LOVE it :)


I am a big fan of the TV show Jon and Kate plus 8. Well, Kate was at the fairgrounds last week so Scott and I made our way there to see her. We didn't wait in line for her autograph but took some pics of her signing for someone else. Scroll down for more news...

We had our ultrasound today and found we are having a GIRL. I don't have a scanner anymore so I can't post any pictures of her until she is here. She was pretty modest and didn't want us looking but we were relentless. She finally uncrossed her legs and took her hands away long enough to get a good look. Scott and I are so excited!! Kade doesn't know what to think yet.

Above is Kade's new favorite...Lion King. He wants to watch it all the way through several times a day. We try to keep it down to just once when we are home.

Monday's are our grocery store day. Today Kade wanted to help me put things away. He tried so hard to put things were they belong and carry the heavy bags into the kitchen. It was so cute. Mommy's big helper.

We've set some dates :)

Hello blog friends!
I went to the doctor today and we have a date for our next ultrasound! Hopefully the little one will cooperate and we will be able to see if it is a boy or a girl. The date is Febuary 9th. We also set a date for the planned C-section. We think it is going to be Friday July 3rd. The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays so this should just add to that love I have for it. So, thank you for all of your prayers for us!

Big News! Most of you probably already know this but.....I'm pregnant (12 wks)! Our new little one should be here beginning of July sometime. The first picture is of the baby looking face into the "camera". The second is a profile picture. The baby appears to be sucking its thumb. Oh no...not another thumb sucker!! ha ha. Just like Kade! We are so thankful to God for this little baby.
